Jada | Secco Partnership for Superior Steel Windows

Steel windows and doors are beautiful, strong, and long-lasting, but can they meet energy code requirements? Jada has partnered with Secco Sistemi, Italy’s leading producers of integrated window and door systems, to ensure our answer to this question is always a resounding “Yes.”

About Secco Sistemi

Secco Sistemi has been an industry leader for more than 70 years. They combine industrial tradition and technological innovation to develop and precision engineer thermally broken profiles that meet European and US standards for energy efficiency and thermal design. Secco products meet the most diverse technical and functional performance needs and are always in compliance with current regulations. Secco products have been used by the masters of Italian architecture, and are the products of choice for world-class restoration projects around the globe.

A Proud Partnership

Secco supplies their profiles to select companies worldwide for each company to create their own custom line of window and door systems. Jada is proud to be one of these exclusive, select partners, and actively collaborates with Secco to develop the finest fenestration products for the US market.

Secco’s exclusive thermal products are renowned in Italy, where they are tested and pass rigorous European standards for efficiency, safety, and performance. At the Secco factory in Italy, these thermally broken profiles are roll formed from quality metals and the two halves are firmly bonded with a polyamide and polyurethane thermal barrier to create superior thermal insulation values and performance efficiency. Then, they are sent to our California manufacturing facility where Jada designs and custom fabricates thermally broken steel window and door solutions for the most elite architectural firms and design professionals in the US marketplace.

Here are just a few of the reasons why we’ve chosen to partner with Secco:

Modern Performance

Thermal insulation and performance efficiency is important to us, and we know it’s important to our clients, too. At the core of Secco’s philosophy is a commitment to the protection of the planet, and this vision drives the company to create profiles and products which are eco-friendly, long-lasting, and that provide high-performance, energy efficient solutions.

Jada recognized the advanced thermal performance and highly sophisticated design features of the Secco profile, and knew the system would integrate perfectly with our design methodologies and current window technologies specially chosen for the Jada products. The combination of these performance tailored design solutions ensure a line of window and door systems efficient enough for even the most extreme environments.

Sustainability

Secco’s commitment to sustainability is demonstrated through their selection of materials and manufacturing processes. Cold rolled steel parts are sustainable and require less energy to create compared to hot rolled steel and other extruded profiles. Secco uses sustainable manufacturing practices when they fabricate their profile systems.

Selection

Secco has developed a creative selection of profiles for use in inswing and outswing doors and windows, as well as sliding and folding doors. They produce these profiles in a variety of materials, including galvanized steel, stainless steel, corten steel and true bronze.

Strength

Each Secco profile, used in the Jada product, is designed from the highest quality metal alloys to support window and door systems with maximum torsional and flexural strength. Also, unlike other profile products using plastic barriers, the Secco profile uses a tough fiberglass reinforced polyamide extruded strut, with high-density polyurethane resin, to add strength and an impenetrable insulation seal to the joining of the two roll formed halves.

The union of the Secco profile with Jada’s custom design solutions and advanced manufacturing applications make it possible to realize extra-large, expanses of glass windows and doors so anticipated in today’s architecture.

Beauty

Secco has designed profiles and window systems to be used in both historical and monumental building restorations, as well as today’s modern designs. Secco has perfected a slim, narrow profile which makes it possible for Jada to design and manufacture window systems with the slimmest of sightlines.

Experience

Secco has decades of experience perfecting, testing, and innovating their craft. They are an industry leader with a stellar reputation, and their products are unparalleled in energy performance, strength, innovation, and beauty. With a 50-year history in the roll forming business Secco leads the way in the development of the thermally broken narrow sightline profiles. Jada is proud to manufacture our thermally broken steel windows and doors around the world-renowned Secco profiles.
